- a seminar about changes
The purpose of this seminar is to concretise matters and provide knowledge on how to manage structural changes within an organisation.
What happens to people and their professional roles when demands for efficiency and flexibility increase? How should people relate to the fact that what was seen as self-evident yesterday is considered old news today and ancient tomorrow? How is an organisation and the individuals in it affected by the process? The characters of the play, as well as the audience, will be faced with a series of issues;
· On whose terms should the changes be made?
· How does one achieve a change that is meaningful for everyone?
· How do we transform words into action?
· How can a good team leader support his staff?
· Can the communication between team members be improved?
· Is everyone expected to go through the same process at the same speed?
· How does the individual affect the group dynamics and how does this in turn affect the citizen?
One of the pitfalls in the changing process is the tendency to stagnate in good intentions and clichées due to ambiguity, poor communication, and fear of conflict. This seminar provides the participants with the opportunity to try out their own personal thoughts and ideas in a realistic setting. As a result, they will gain experience and awareness of the difficulties as well as the possibilities in organisational changes. The aim is to encourage the continuous process of forming a workplace that combines change and efficiency with camaraderie and compassion.
